Out and about in Shaftesbury - St. Peter's Church
Reverend Dawes showed us into the church and talked about the most important parts of it. We saw the alter ( holy table) and found out what is put on it and why. We also found out why Reverend Dawes wears the special robes. Then we looked at the font where babies and sometimes older people are christened. After that we used our drawing skills to sketch some of the objects we had been told about. Finally we ended with a prayer.
