*************
Welcome to Year 3 Spellings. We follow Read, Write, Inc. a wonderful active spelling scheme. Each week there will be a focus of spelling pattern and tricky words, sometimes referred to as red or orange words.
A sheet will be sent home every week for you to use at home.
As all Year Threes should be able to spell all red words already, please help your child learn them. They need to able to write them neatly in joined up handwriting. A full list of the red words can be found in the back of their reading records.
