Parts of flowers

Today we found out about the functions of the different parts of flowers. We learned that flowers have male parts called stamen which are made up of the anther and filament. They also have female parts called the carpel which contains the ovary and and a sticky part at the top called the stigma. Can you remember what all the parts do and tell an adult?

We dissected some daffodil flowers to see if we could find all the different parts.
