What a great first week!

It's Friday and we have already been making mistakes and learning from them this week. We have also swum and thought about sources of light as well as tried to chase our shadows when the sun shone. Today we had great fun playing place value digit games in threes then wrote up Our Sizzling Summer Holiday Moments for a display that will cheer up the corridor outside Year 3!

Next week we are going to be concentrating on our joined up handwriting and begin to learn how to be newspaper reporters. We are also going to be estimating and measuring. Don't forget it is Year 3 cake sale next Friday where we are raising money for a fantastic shadow puppet workshop.
