Fossil Trip to Charmouth - Trips

Wow, what a fantastic day we had at Charmouth today and the weather was perfect! We had a great time listening to our fossil walk leader, Chris, telling us about the different fossils we could find- he told some terrible jokes though! Then we went onto the beach to look for fossils. Lots of us found some interesting fossils.

Testing Rocks - Science

We worked in small groups today to test different rocks to see if they were permeable, reacted to acid, floated or could be scratched with a penny. We also read descriptions of different rocks and matched them to real rocks to find out their names.
