The Story of Rama and Sita

Lucy wrote a fabulous re-telling of the story of Rama and Sita. She used nearly all of ISPACE to help her with her sentence starters.

Go to the BBC Bitesize web page to watch the puppet show of the story.

Lighting our divas!

We put glitter round the edge of our divas to help reflect the light.

Painting our divas

Tasting traditional Indian sweets

We tasted some very sweet sweets! Then we thought of adjectives to describe them.

Music and Literacy

We worked in small groups today to read and perform poems which tell the story of Rama and Sita. Then we used instruments to add to our performance. Can you remember the story and tell it to someone at home?

Making our divas!

We used air drying clay to make divas for Diwali.

Healthy pizza parlour

The school kitchen became our pizza parlour today. We thought about how to keep ourselves safe in the kitchen and also how to use a knife correctly. Just before lunch, we test tasted our healthy pizzas by eating half of them while the other half was placed in the special boxes we made yesterday.

A wonderful Gold Hill runner!

Imperative Verbs

We practised reading and using imperative verbs by picking a verb card and doing what it said with play dough.

Healthy Pitta Pizzas!

Holly Class made their pizzas today. We had great fun and they looked and tasted fabulous!
Ollie and Lochi loved the olives-
Kayla and Travis did NOT love the olives (neither did Mrs Clark)!

Gold Hill Run on Sunday

Well done all you wonderful runners!
