Making Chocolate Rocks.

In Chestnut we have been using chocolate to learn more about how sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks are formed! Ask you child if you want to know more!

On Tuesday (19th) Year 3 will be taking part in an outdoor PE session with our coach. Please could you ensure that your child has suitable clothing and footwear (trainers if possible) on this day. They will still need their indoor PE kit for Monday and their usual outdoor kit for Friday. Many thanks for your support.

To finish off our topic on Amazing Eruptions Holly class created their own chocolate rocks. Through working together as a team the children were able to see how sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks are formed. Check out some pictures of the marvellous team efforts below.
